LATIN EVENT AND FESTIVAL PROGRAM PLANNING WITH THE SALSA CLUB IS AS EASY AS 1-2-3!

With over 20 years of event planning experience, Latin event and festival planning is as easy as 1-2-3! We will meet with key stakeholders for 30 – 60 minutes to discuss your needs, the programs, answer any of your questions and draft high-level plans free of charge. Drafting high-level plans with us is as easy as 1-2-3!

STEP 1 – SELECT THE LATIN CULTURE PROGRAM

1. Latin Culture In-Town This presentation of Latin culture displays the common and popular traditions and cultural aspects across Latin American countries (below); and engages guests in Latin American staple foods and dishes that contain rice, beans, plantains, pork, fish and chicken; Spanish language, music and traditional dances like Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue and Bachata.
2. Latin Fuego In-Town Similar to Latin Culture In-town, the presentation represents all Latin cultures with an outdoor celebration flare.
3. Cuban Cabaret In-Town With or without dinner, this presentation takes guests back to the elite’s jet-set haven of Havana in the 1950s and dazzles them with amazing entertainment by the Cabaret show’s song and dance that reminisce the good old days of Havana, Cuba’s vibrant and decadent nightlife of the rich and famous. After the spectacular show of music, storytelling and dance, Cuban dance instructor(s) will lead dance lesson(s) for audience participation, followed by dancing to a full live Latin Orchestra band.
4. Colombia In-Town This presentation of Colombian culture displays the rich influences of the Indigenous, Spanish and African history and cultures; and engages guests in Colombian food, coffee, art and Colombian Spanish, music and traditional dances like Cumbia, Vallenato, Salsa Caleña and more.
5. Cuba In-Town This presentation of Cuban culture displays the rich influences of the Indigenous, Spanish, African and North American history and cultures; and engages guests in Cuban food, coffee, art and Cuban Spanish, music and traditional dances like Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Mambo, Rumba and more.
6. Dominican Republic In-Town This presentation of Dominican culture displays the rich influences of the Indigenous, European, Haitian and African history and cultures; and engages guests in Dominican food and drinks like pera piña, Dominican Spanish, music and traditional dances like merengue and bachata.
7. Mexico In-Town This presentation of Mexican culture displays the rich influences of the Indigenous and Spain; and engages guests in Mexican food like tamales and enchiladas, Mexican celebrations such as Cinco de Mayo and El Dia de los Muertos, traditional music like Mariachi and traditional dances like Jarabe Tapatio, Cumbia and more.
8. Puerto Rico In-Town This presentation of Puerto Rican culture displays the rich influences of the Indigenous, Spanish, African and North American history and cultures; and engages guests in Puerto Rican food, coffee, art and Puerto Rican Spanish, music and traditional dances like Bomba, Danza, Salsa and more.
9. Regular Latin Weekdays / Weekends In-Town This presentation works outdoors and is a free event for residents and visitors to participate in a free 30 minute group Latin dance lesson, followed by Latin DJ and 1.5 hours dancing for spectators and dancers. This weekly, bi-weekly or monthly 2-hour event ideally takes place sometime between May – September between 7:00pm – 9:00pm, but of course, the time and date is yours to choose from.

STEP 2 – SELECT AUDIENCE SIZE / VENUE CAPACITY

A. SMALL AUDIENCE SIZE [Capacity: Up to 150 people]

The small audience size is for specific locations with a maximum capacity of 150 guests such as restaurants, bars, night clubs, private parties, weddings, small businesses, corporate department parties and cities with a dedicated small location size.

B. MEDIUM AUDIENCE SIZE [Capacity of 151 to 500 people]

The medium audience size is for specific locations with a maximum capacity of 500 guests such as resorts, clubs, restaurants, bars, night clubs, schools, private parties, weddings, small businesses, corporate department parties and cities with a dedicated medium location size.

C. LARGE AUDIENCE SIZE [Capacity of 501 to 1000 people]

The large audience size is for specific locations with a maximum capacity for 1000 people such as resorts, clubs, bars, restaurants (e.g. possess a street closure permit), night clubs, schools, private parties, weddings, medium sized businesses, corporate parties and cities with a dedicated large location size.

• Professional Latin Dance Performance by 10 -12 Dancers (up to 90 minutes)
• Live Traditional Latin Music Orchestra of 12 – 14 musicians (2 sets of 1 hour each)
• **Out of Province or Out of Country Musicians Option – Pricing to be confirmed based on artist Latin Culinary Expert presentation *videographer and equipment/projector LED screen, technician extra

EXAMPLES OF ADDITIONAL EXPENSES:

1. Travel expenses may apply if talent / artist is > 30km from performance location.
2. Does not include audio or lighting equipment; nor stage or other related equipment and supplies.
3. Marketing & Promotional materials may be provided at additional but very competitive cost.
4. Additional performer or performer hours can be provided at additional cost.
5. Snacks & Meals:
   If less than 4 hours: snacks and unlimited water, tea, coffee must be provided to artists and
   entertainment staff by the contracting party.
   If equal to or greater than 8 hours: Either an allowance of $125 per person for meals and incidentals must be paid OR snacks, unlimited water, tea, coffee, soft drinks and 1 meal (including vegetarian and gluten free) must be provided to each artist and entertainment staff by the contracting party.
6. Accommodation:
   Depending on the artist, event etc. Hotel, and private dressing room trailer may apply and is paid by the contractor party.
7. Change & Rest Rooms:
   Private area or a room for artists, entertainment, staff, and change room are required.
8. Any images or videos of the Artist posted on the contracting party’s website or social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, Snapchat, etc.): The Artist(s) will be paid $15 per post, per platform by the contracting party.
